The contemporary steakhouse "Carna" in Nassau, Bahamas is an offshoot of the legendary and well-known Netflix "Carna" in the Tuscan village of Panzano in the Chianti hills. Behind the innovative steakhouse concept is the famous Italian restaurateur and butcher Dario Cecchini. With the takeover of the family business in 1976, the full-blooded Italian remembered the centuries-old traditions of the butcher's trade and today he maintains and honours the old butcher's trade with all its skills and rituals in his restaurants worldwide. Cecchini's credo is to use all parts of an animal. He is convinced that every piece can become a culinary delight if prepared properly. This avoids waste, supports sustainability, and esteems the life and death of the animal. There are other Carna restaurants in Dubai, Seoul, Paris and Istanbul, among others.
