Navigating Tariffs Together – Hallstein Price Update

By Alexander Muhr

We want to inform you about an upcoming price adjustment affecting Hallstein Water products due to the recently imposed US tariffs. Specifically, a 10% tariff on EU imports is now applicable, and this additional cost necessitates adjustments in our pricing structure. The price increase will go into effect on Hallstein products on May 15th 2025.

Here is the specific language from CSMS # 64649265 - GUIDANCE – Reciprocal Tariffs, April 5, 2025 Effective Date: All imported goods, other than those that fall within the identified exceptions, entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time (EDT) on April 5, 2025, are subject to the following Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) secondary classification and duty rate: 9903.01.25: Additional ad valorem duty rate of 10%

Starting May 15th 2025, the following price increases will take effect:

The price increases reflect the transfer pricing structure we have between our entities Alpine Water GmbH (Austrian parent company) and Alpine Water USA Inc. (wholly owned subsidiary in the United States).

The 20% tariff rate has been suspended 90 days for review and could potentially go into effect after that period. We remain committed to transparency, and should these tariffs be adjusted or rolled back, we assure you that our prices will reflect those changes accordingly.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Warm regards,

Alexander Muhr
CEO
